Hi! I'm Cassie.
I'm an experienced English teacher with a passion for helping students achieve their language learning goals. My teaching approach is focused on creating a supportive and engaging environment where students can build confidence and fluency in English. I believe that language learning should be fun and relevant to real-life situations, and I strive to make each lesson meaningful and enriching for my students.
About Me
I have been teaching or tutoring ever since I was in high school, where I graduated Valedictorian. I attended Baylor University, where I graduated summa cum laude. Since graduation, I've taught Kindergarten, Adult ESL and GED classes at McLennan Community College, ESL classes for parents at Stockdale ISD, English classes at Center for Refugee Services, and tutored over 100 students from Kindergarten to graduate school. I currently teach English in secondary schools here in Uruguay.
My husband and I are quintessential nerds. In our free time, we like to play board games, read, visit the comic book store, go to museums, etc. I also enjoy gardening and cooking. I am a lifelong learner, so I enjoy every minute spent learning something new!
